Adventureland

I watched the independent film, Adventureland today and it was alright. It was about this boy named James who just graduated from college. He was planning on going to Europe for the summer and then going to Columbia for grad school. Unfortunately, his dad gets a demotion at work and they can't afford his trip to Europe (which was supposed to be his graduation gift) or his grad school tuition. The only place he can find a job is at an amusement park called Adventureland where he works a game booth. He meets this girl named Em, played by Kristen Stewart, and falls in love with her. Of course it is never that simple and Em is sleeping with Connell, the maintenance guy, played by Ryan Reynolds. And naturally Connell is married. Confusion and deceit among the characters ensues. It was a decent movie. I enjoyed it while I was watching it and it was definitely comical. But I probably wouldn't watch it again.
